Side Pod Fan

Hi,

I have noticed recently that my side pod fan isnt coming on as it used to after a long journey. Now before i go fiddling around, are there any known problems with these or is it really just a case of checking all connections?

There are known problems - but they're designed to extract heat... is it simply the external cold weather doing enough?

The only times that my Fans tend to come on are either when sitting in traffic for very long periods or after prolonged driving in the rare warmer weather that this country sometimes experiences. As Kett says, the colder weather at this time of year may be on it's own sufficient to keep the engine bay cool and mean that the fan is therefore not required.

Ahhhh brilliant, thanks guys. That would make sense then as they definitely worked during summer, just not recently. It has been below freezing recently so that must be why! Didn't realise that was the case.
