Side fans

Mine seem to come on quite alot, especially with the aircon on as the drivers side fan seems to be linked to it on mine lol
 
Mine come on a fair bit too, usually when i'm doing a bit of 'sprinted driving' lol.
 
Quite a few have stopped, think there's some threads somewhere.
I switched to manual............just kneel down and blow through the pods. :wink:
 
If you're stationary and have the AC on for any length of time whilst the engine is warm they should come on. Heard mine the other day at McDs drive through. Bloody loud :)

mine were on the other day just before i smashed the car, they were still coming on when the car was on the low loader that came to my rescue lol :)
 
Mine come on when aircon is on and a fair bit cos of the hot weather here in Hong Kong - I've actually seen 40c on the in car gauge but the car's never overheated. Aircon works well too thank god!
 
Defo different from Huddersfield cos there are hardly any speed cameras!

Most people don't know that alot of Hong Kong is countryside so there's some great country / hill type roads to go for a spin.

Still miss my beef and gravy sandwiches from Merrie England's cafe and cheese and onion pasties from Thurstons though!
 
Mine come on a fair bit. I got stopped in France last year and when I pulled up all was quiet, was telling the officer that i hadn't been speeding etc and literally just as I said that the fans start blowing out really loud. Kind of game the away. :badgrin:

Anyway, turns out they were only really interested in looking round the car etc and sent me on my way after a couple of photos. The French go mad for this car more than anyone else.
 
everyday...it kicks in whenever i go parking or in traffic....i can actually see the temp gauge rises, and then it kicks in
 
can you over ride them and switch to manual, i will be sprinting mine so would help if they were on when in the queue, also has anyone made any dry ice cages for the vents?
 
How can I tell if mine works?

The last time mine came on was about 8months ago. I drove my car in heavy traffic for about 3 hours a few weeks back and they didn't come on!!
