SG Motorsport & Scott

Agree with all the praise for Scott and his work on here.

Took my car to him for the first time to fit a QS sport exhaust, which became an issue when the starter motor died! He subsequently rectified this, replaced the air-con pump, and fitted new headlamp washers as well!

He helpfully dropped me to the station at no request, and was great about keeping me in the loop throughout - and allowing me to leave the car with him whilst I was in Vegas (a story for another thread).

Then when I went to pick up the car in Charlotte's MR2 Roadster, he fixed a sticking throttle on her MR2 which began 5 minutes before we reached him - and stuck wide open!

So all in all he has two very satisfied customers....and my Vee is going nowhere else from now on!

Ah so that was yours! Unlucky!

Scott is a lovely bloke, very welcoming and obviously has the skills but Jesus, never EVER utter the words "No rush..." or anything to that end....

Any news on yours and when you might get it back yet?

Great to see you and Charlotte at Scott's for a catch up Adjit. You couldn't have broken down at a better place! Lol

Totally agree. He really understands that people want and carries out the work in a professional way.

Good to see you too Shaun....can't believe our luck; iffy starter motor on the Vee, then throttle on MR2. Only saving grace is that they became apparent at Scott's.

Happy the Vee is fully ready for the Summer though - working air-con has already become useful. Lakes and Origine RS this year....can't wait!!!

You got yours back yet?

A definitive end date, no... i've abandoned hope of getting it back for the Alps trip in July now (considering I delivered it there at the start of Feb thats a bit frustrating), however this last week has seen some significant progress so hope it wont be too long now.
