Hi James,

what about part no. 7701715740 ??
Its about 4-times the price of part no. 7701057746 [smilie=icon_eek.gif]

Does anybody know the differnce between these seat-covers?

regards,
Frank

On a 53 reg car items 1 & 2 are 7701715738 £552.82
On an 04 reg car items 1 & 2 are 7701058684 £255.96

7701715740 is not shown for a Clio v6 but it is £542.16
Perhaps that is an all leather cover for an ID option car?

hello, I have a question why such price differences between uk and France?
eg 7701058684 UK: £ 255.96 FRANCE 342.35e
Another EX trunk tray before 60 20014051 UK £ 581.96, FRANCE 285.33e
EXfront undertray 6020 011240 UK £ 211.89 436.79 e FRANCE 436.79 e
Why such differences renault uk and renault France??

Thanks for the fast response james.

I thought there were only 2 standard seatcovers?
Phase 1 blueish, colored renault sport stitchin -> in my 172 and <=2001 vees
Phase 2 greyish, white renault sport stitchin, white "dots" -> in my 255 and >=2001 vees

CB1U, chossing ticui3 (standard?) and <21122
prize in euro and from dec 2012.

Now i'm confused which covers people have to get

Okay,
looks like my cd-based dialogys isn't just not up to date...it also has some wrong part no's in it....nice.

So now theres still the mystery of "cheap UK parts" [cmilie=iconcheers.gif]

So what's the difference between the covers for the seat base for 03 and for 04 registration cars? The covers for the backrest are the same aren't they?

Page 77.101.0 in the parts manual shows the same style of cover but completely different part numbers. What are they for?

My 2005 Clio 182 had the same style of leather/alcantara seat but a slightly lighter shade of grey.

Just saw the earlier ref. was to '53' not '03', but that doesn't help me because I don't understand the UK registration system! Which part no. applies before/after which month/year of manufacture?

No idea about price difference or part numbers but:

There are 3 different upholstery fabrics used in the vee.

Phase 1 vees are the blueish coloured ones (clio 172 phase 1 seats).
Early phase 2 vees are grey alcantara with grey in fills dots (clio 172 phase 2 seats).
Late phase 2 vees again are grey alcantara but with white/silver in fill dots (clio 182 seats) - paired with silver seat belts.

OK that's making a bit more sense. My car (built 10.03) has the grey seat perforations and black seatbelts. But surely the backrest covers will be different between early and late ph2 cars as they have perforations too.
