Santa Pod RWYB, Social and Camping followed by Straightliners

So with covid killing off most things for the past year and a half a lot of us haven't had a decent social meet up mixed with evening antics, beers and tents. So I've been in contact with Santa Pod for a bit of an old school hit. This used to be the thing to do back in the day, RWYB drag racing, drinks and a good old laugh. They have a RWYB event on Saturday the 16th of October with camping available that eve followed by a Straightliners drag racing event on the Sunday. Anyone fancy a bit of a meet up and chin wag and I'm thinking it would be a good end of the season event.

So the costs are as follows
Sat RWYB admission is £10
Sun Straight liners admission is £10
or for £25 you get both days admission and the camping This is what you'd need really
RWYB Race entry (to race) on the Saturday is £35

I'm going to post this out on all the facebook groups too as it would be good to get lots of us involved. Who's up for it?

Sounds like a great idea!! I’m sure the British weather will be an absolute cow-bag and wet and cold… but thinking we could cobble together a Chiminea/fire pit/something to keep us warm, and it could be a winner…

Great idea guys!! We get enough campers booked we can circle the wagons like Rawhide!!

At least we then won’t let the weather put us off.

Shame that the Straightliners event on the Sunday is Motorbikes, mind you were all usually packing up and fecking off when the Hangovers subside, regardless of the event!
