RS tuning re-map

Have sent a e-mail to Paul @ RS tuning regarding re-mapping the vee.

The price is as follows £345 for the map and £50 for dyno time.

However, he has said if we can get enough takers the dyno time will be included in the map price :approve:

So £345.

I think it is the same for mk1 and mk2 and he can cater for different mods on each individual car.

So far myself and im pretty sure mossyv6 is intrested, so if you are planning on gettin this mod done and car running sweetly list your names below please.

I spoke to Paul at RS a couple of months ago about a group discount on a rolling road day etc., and possible re-maps... :approve: (need to find the thread - think it's in meetings & events :roll but he said for me to get back in contact if we could get a few people interested....

...Might wanna mention this to him when you speak to him next..

The RS Tuning remap for the mk2 vee was the best mod i got for the car last year - you certainly get a noticeable improvement in the lower revs that you didnt have before. Dont think anyone from last years group buy was disappointed were they Peter [smilie=cool.gif]

what advantages to mapping a standard vee then??

Yep mines standard apart from the remap.

Actual gains as per the rolling road were about 9 bhp, so cost vs bhp is pretty much as good as it gets.

It just felt more responsive at low down revs, quite a bit more torque so you feel it more in real world driving and it seemed to sort out a tiny bit of a flat spot I used to feel at about 4,500rpm.

RS tuning is in Leeds. So quite a journey for you. Could not say how long it takes but im guessing at a couple of hours per car including dyno read-out.

Im hoping to go for a date around mid/end of July which ever suits me + others/more if we can get can ppl intrested.
