clio was put on the rolling road today and my car has a exhaust system, cda filter and superchip and only produced 208bhp which as confused me, is this correct as my car is running fine or are the rollers lying Help!!!!!!!!!

rolling roads all differ,no 2 are the same......

outputs are very fickle and depend on settings.load, tempature, ect ect....i wouldnt be disheartened as if u take it to another it could be 20bhp more...

They run it in fourth gear but the place that did it are jap lovers and did nothing but rip my vee but hi was the higest of the day there was a tweeked scooby that could only manage 203bhp lol

Did they have any serious air flow to the side pods, particularly the passenger side. ???

If that is a flywheel figure, as I'm sure it must be, what was the figure at the wheels??

no air flow was put on the side just at the front for the rad

IMHO this doesn't show any serious regard for accuracy, providing decent customer value or perhaps even knowledge about rear engined cars ...

Most Mk1s make about 215-225bhp. If yours had had a BIG fan aimed at the pod as well it would have been in this range so I wouldn't worry too much.

Would not be to dis-heartened by the result.

Mine mk1 made 209bhp just after i bought it. The only mods i had was a piperX filter.

Also had no big fan in front of the side pods.

Once ive finished got some other mods finished will get it RR'd again to see if its made anymore.

I hope so :s

The spec on my car is!!

Custom exhaust no back box!!
Superchip
CDA Filter

Was Wondering maybe running my car with no back box was making the car lose bhp what do you guys think!!

More likely to lose torque than power. I assume the manifolds and cats are standard?
Find a decent rolling road operator who can supply the engine with sufficient air and you'll get the figure you think you should.
