Roll cage anyone?

Looked at the idea of having a half cage fitted a while ago. Spoke to Scott and he advised I'd have to lose the seat belts with a cage being so tightly up to the B pillars so, that idea was filed away. Harnesses have their uses but if I had to use one every time I used the car it would drive me nuts.

Anyhow, ideas always get a 2nd visit and had a thought of maybe the cage could be made with enough room between it and the B pillars to retain the seat belts.

Has anyone who has / has had a cage done this? Or is there another way to retain the seat belts?

I think you’re probably right about specifying a cage with some compensation at the B-pillar. Certainly, mine has a change of crossmember from the previously made incarnations.
Harnesses aren’t a huge hassle though...

Bill Patchall ran both a cage and normal seat belts. I'm sure it was a SafetyDevices cage too.
