Reverse gate spring missing

Me again,
My phase 1 has the spring missing from the gear stick so the outer sheath of the gear stick does not retract after reverse is used. Can I but a replacement kit or is it a case of making a spring up? Thanks

I would try one from a random car in a breakers yard if you cant buy new, there cant be much difference in them from the same make I'd imagine.

There is a kit of sorts. Looks expensive to get a small spring!

Having taken the gear knob off mine & a friends, I can tell you its not a special spring - or at least on the PH2 its not. Its more just a case of getting the right size.
