Just to give everybody a heads up for the next years event, this is a provisional date but this time there is going to be more parking and various other improvements. Obviously developments will be slow to come through as its almost a year away!

The Renault Sport National meet looks like its going to go from strength to strength for 2011 and beyond, and a meet that as a club we'd like to give our full support.

As last year, all Renault Sport models will be able to attend, with the addition this year of 'Heritage' models. (We are also included within this marque) This will include:-
Clio Trophy's
Clio Williams
Alpine's
Gordini's (old style)
Renault 5's
Spiders

Please continue to add your names to the list, as this is still an event in its infancy and will give us and the organisers a good idea of numbers that may attend.

this has come from the organisers:
A way of making this list easier to manage is if you can register/log into:
RENAULTSPORT FORUM and add yourselves to the list, as this caused a few probs last time with duplicate names and different usernames.

Tbh if everyone wants then if we just have our own master list on this site, nearer the time of the meet we can just pile this in with the master list, that way it saves you all registering, i think only me and shaun are over on the renaultsport site? :approve: :approve:

Perhaps if we just keep a master list on here, and just add "v6clio.net" to the list on the Renault Sport forum with the amount attending.... eg "v6clio.net - 12no."
It would certainly keep things simplified for our members.

Was a great meet this year, and one I hope to be attending in 2011 too!!

This time i'll be doing a recce for a decent drive out, but looking at a map nothing stands out?

Already up to 20 cars attending! Just a note though- if i still have the vee, it will be the longest i have ever owned a single car: its a good job its brilliant then!

We had a great drive on our way out last week.. if you had hung about, you would have been most welcome to join us Simon. When I get involved in a meet, we generally go for a bit of a 'drive' at some point.. either before or more usually afterwards.. You're more than welcome to join us next year too fella.. lol :approve:

Keep 'em coming peoples! Probably the first club meet of 2011. Although its essentially just a static meet, going by last years event, its a great opportunity to catch up with fellow members after the long winter months. (That and a good excuse for many to get the cars out of hibernation and remember what great cars they are.. lol)
