Renault Warranty

Has anyone tried extending their warranty? [smilie=dunno1.gif]

I got renault to extend the warranty on my mk2 just a month ago, I did not pay for it (part of compensation) however they said it was around 1100 to 1200 quids worth if you wish to believe them. The warranty is a renault extension and not dealer based and though I'm not 100 percent sure it only recommends you to use a dealer for repairs it doesn't state you have to. Hope this is off some help.
