Renault 19 16v phase 2

Bought this a couple of months ago so I thought Id stick a few pics n stuff up for you all to have a look at.

Its in excellent condition, far better than the advert that I bought it from described it as being.

Fully treated underneath etc and solid like new.

No rust around the bonnet edge, bonnet scoop or arches, Im genuinely shocked :lol:

The plans are to return it to standard - wheels, air filter and de-cat pipe to be changed and thats about it.

Oh, and probably a decent leather interior when Ive got the money.

There are a few marks and dinks on the paintwork as you would expect with age but I will either just live with them or get them sorted out further down the line.

paint the bonnet badge black

paint the calipers black (yellow...really?!)

and the tail pipe black too

& It'd look sweet

Whats with the vaseline on the camera lense dude?

Looks nice! I would put the wheels back to silver.. or some shade of bronze looks nice with green.Btw did you know you have phase 1 front speaker covers

i had those wheels on my black hatch, i had painted them black cos mine were in its but the owner after me i think had them dipped and reconditioned and they looked extremely well

Nope, right hand drive cars never got the later ph2 left hand drive 'swoopy' style curvy dash, all RHD had the same blocky ph1 type.

I was a little worried about the mk1 dash comment?! I didnt know they did a phase 2 dash on the continent?!

Still unsure about the wheels, will probably just buy a standard set of clover leafs but I also like the idea of 'blacking up' some of the other bits and going for a theme.

I once put some smoked side repeaters on a golf GTI that I had and thought it looked alot better.

As for the vaseline on the camera lense, you dont wanna know haha.
