Description

Renault 19 16v alloys. They have been refurbished and are in mint condition, no kerb damage. No centre caps unfortunately.

They currently have good 195/45 Toyo T1R's on, but I'm not sure if this is the standard Renault size? The rears have 4mm tread, fronts have at least 6mm but I've just found a screw through one of them. I am willing to sell without tyres though.

How do you know they haven't been prep'd right?
And they have the right size tyres on for the car they were fitted to (they weren't fitted to a 19).

After looking around, things on this forum seem very cheap compared to some other forums I go on! I am open to offers.

EDIT: OK then, does anyone know of any centre caps for sale?

Turbines are what tend to command more money these days, but a mint set recently sold for £70 on ebay, if your lucky enough to find these in a scrapyard they are about 15-20 a wheel turbines are generally around 30 quid a wheel

aye prab is right, usually ranging from 70 to at times 150 in mint condition, even over here in rip off central youll find them for 150 mint with tyres, hope they sell for you regardless

45 series tyre will be fine, its only 5mm after all, still wouldnt pay that for them

Right well these wheels came on a car I bought, they didn't come with centre caps and it was the previous owner that had them refurished. I have bought a set of standard wheels for my car and was hoping these may find their way back on to a 19 where they belong. Obviously they're not worth as much or in such demand as he made them out to be. Not in Renault circles anyway. D'oh!

Oh I see, TBH they look a lot worse in those pictures, cant really notice any marks once they're on the car.

I gotta say this though mate, did you just become a member of this forum to sell overpriced wheels? There are places for selling stuff such as gumtree etc etc, this is an enthusiasts forum not the crenshaw swap meet or some crap. TBH it's about as rude as coming in my house, not introducing yourself and not wiping your feet on the welcome mat.

I think what people are saying is it'll be hard to locate the centre caps to finish them, and even harder to match the paint.

Good luck with the sale but you might want to bear that in mind.

Having those wheels in that sort of colour was quite popular especially amongst the Clio lot at one point, despite the poor prep work they otherwise look pretty immaculate and if the tyres have plenty of life left in them then I think he has every right to ask 'above the average'.
