Well some may remember me toying with the idea of building a car along the Red Bull Racing theme a while back? The Clio williams came about through Williams using Renault engines and i have an F7R engine kickin about so I thought i'd create a more modern theme along these lines. Though when i bought the valver expecting to use just the shell i had a little suprise as the condition underneath was much better than the asking price suggested. The car drove well and very fast, and once back and on the ramp i found many new parts had been fitted. It was essentially a good, unfinished project. So i thought it'd be rude not to finish it my way, but from the beginning as it where. When i figure out how i intend to post piccys from start to where it is now. Been a long road but i can see the end and she looks sweeeeeet!

The RBR clio had to leave work today to make space in the bodyshop
Anyway, this meant it had to be water tight and as road legal as poss to be driven up the farm on trade plates, first time its been drivin since i got it in june! So i assembled the other door

My workshop is in the middle of no where and the road up there is private, as you all know im still banned so once it had been drivin to that point it was my turn to drive, first time i've ever driven it properly and i'm very impressed, it feels so solid and sounds amazing, pulls strong too, cannot wait to be able to drive it properly and have it finished. Its completely different to drive from the RSi it feels more like my F7R megane. The RSi is great fun but the valver feels a bit special to me, at times i have questioned my efforts on the valver, but i know its all worth it now, always wanted one and now i remember why. If anyone can help me source the trim bits i need? One thing the drive up there did bring up is i have no heat, no doubt a blocked matrix which doesn't worry me too much as when the bodywork is all done its gettin a full service and all the fluids flushed and replaced, but the heater selector seems to be broken too, not the hot/cold one but the one directing the air flow, anly wants to blow on my face? when you turn the knob it goes very stiff (excuse the pun) and makes no difference. Still I'll get to that at a later date, gotta refit all the door innards at some point. The windows need sortin too, won'y stay in their runners. Also the headlamp aims will need adjusting.
