Rear wheel recess

I dont know if any of you have the same problem but on my Vee one rear wheel looks more receeded into the arch than the other? I think its the n/s sits further in than the o/s? My Lancia Delta had the same problem and after some tracking issues and subframe adjustment it was better. The car drives fine and the tracking spot on. Jobs I have had done since ownership include engine out for Cambelt and clutch renewal at a later date. Would this affect the outcome of how the wheels sit in the arches when everything is put back together? Maybe the subframe needs to be moved over a tad to move the wheels? Are there definate solid fixings for the subframe so that it only tightens and fixes in one place?

Maybe some of you could have a look at your vees to see if they are the same. The car is HPI clear and doesnt look like its ever been in a serious accident?

Hi Kevin, Yep mines the same must be a Ph2 thing as nobodys mentioned the same on Ph1's :s
Both Mossy and me found the same after fitting the cromodoras as the wider wheel sits much further out!!!!!!
Not sure if there's any solution, but if you do find one let us all know :approve:

Yup.. seen it before on another ph2 with Cromadora wheels fitted.

Dont the subframes have locating pins on them, so they can only sit in one position?

I thought the same, the subframe can only go in one position or, as said in other posts about loose bolts, the frame would move from side to side.

Thats okay then. well maybe it isnt. I just think its weird that they Reno could not get the rear wheels to sit evenly in the arches? To be honest, I dont think there is a solution....well there is, put a 5mm spacer on one side, but that does not seem right.

If anyone gets any answers then please let me know.
