Random parts

The first time i washed the vee I meant to come on here and see/ask about two seemingly random parts on the vee bodywork.

Kept forgetting and only just remembered there the now after looking at some pictures...

Does anyone know what the sort of teardrop shaped bit under the passenger mirror casing, and on the rear spoiler to the right of the brake light (mk2 im talking about here) is for?

The bit under the passenger wing mirror is the exterior temperature sensor. I'm sure someone else will enlighten us on the bit beneath the rear spoiler.

You could well be right with that Captain, never thought of that since i haven't used a rear wiper in about 5 years... If the cars dirty enough to need the rear window wiped, the car needs a wash.

Still undecided as to remove the vee's wiper or not.

One of my pet hates is when cars have a swipe mark on the rear windows from the rear wipers, I hate it!
