1991 Renault 21 Turbo Quadra for sale, in Blue. The car is located in Liverpool and is available for viewing.

Details as follows:
1991 Renault 21 Turbo Quadra (Phase 2).
Registered 28/2/1991 - H887 KBH
8 former keepers – owned by at least three Renault forum members with access to detailed information on this model.
The car hasn't had a great deal of use in the past few years, so I purchased it as a project from the previous owner, another forum member & a extensive refurbishment was completed by a 21 enthusiast...resulting in a new MOT certificate being issued on the 1st of August, with zero advisories. Not bad for a car from 1991 & by a tester who didn't appear to like French cars.
All work is documented on the forum.
Mileage approx 94k.
Mot Expiry 31/07/2017. Currently on SORN.




Body
Good condition for age - a few age related marks as can be seen in the photos. The underside is solid as common problem areas like sills & jacking points dealt with prior to the MOT test. There are two small holes remaining in the passenger side door tops - see photos.
DTM mirrors.

OE 15" x 6.5J phase 2 alloys

Brakes
OE Standard discs & calipers.
ABS removed and larger servo fitted

Suspension
OE Standard.

Interior
Renault 21 Velour seats, aftermarket steering wheel & gear knob.

2 litre J7R Ph1 engine with ported head, recently stripped, cleaned & rebuilt.
T34 turbo
3" turbo back stainless side exit exhaust
Silicone hoses
Cone filter


Transmission
Manual 5-speed UN1 4x4 box plus lockable rear diff in 1st & reverse
Paddle clutch, phase 1 hydraulics

I think it was a Clio 16v, but i'll have to double check that.

I've had an offer of 2200 for the car via eBay, which would mean selling at a loss...any advance on that, folks

They wont know cos i didnt tell them I dont think, and they guy I bought it off did the swap. His phone number seems to have gone offline since i last spoke to him 2 or 3 weeks ago though! Sure it was a Clio valver one, or similar.

Good to know. I'm planning to get rid of the ABS block in one of mine.

I'm sure I recall Clio 16v, so you must have mentioned it??
I'm considering loosing the abs too, amongst other things.

No sale from the eBay advert, had a few offers with the highest one being 2200. A chap called me 8 minutes before the advert ended "on behalf of his mate", asking would I take 2500 as his mate was going to look at a white 21 for that amount. So of course I said go and look at the white one then, since I don't like those kind of shenanigans. Make an offer or leave it, no stories please.
