Ok so today I spent just over an hour washing #243. Of course I'm not going to try and pull the wool over your eyes and convince you I did all the polishing and waxing within that time, I didn't that was done a few weeks back but what I did do today I think, just goes to show that polishing and waxing a couple of times a year really does help maintain the look and finish of these cars.
Washing
I used Dodo juices new Low on Eau rinse less wash. It's a fantastic product, easy to work with and took me 15 min to wash and dry the whole car.
Wheels & tyres
Wheel woolie (large) and bucket of Dodo Juice SN shampoo
Tyres sprayed with Auto Glym tyre cleaner and left to dry naturally
Paintwork was then given a quick squirt of Gtechniq C3 smart carnauba. It leaves a very nice warm finish that makes the Illiad pop in the sun. The insides and trim were also cleaned and protected with C3 (it's a good cleaning spray in its own right)
All fabrics, inc seats, carpets, door cards, mats etc were sprayed with Gtechniq I1 which is a nano spray to protect fabrics. This stuff is futuristic, it covers each fibre and repells any liquid or spillages. There's a video online somewhere showing how water runs off a single sheet of toilet paper that has been Treated with it...brilliant stuff
Final bit was to use chemical guys cherry air fresher spray in the car...I think it's a marmite thing but it reminds me of sweets you had as a kid so a few sprays make the vee smell lovely :approve:
