Quadra rear caliper position?

S

sonof

Should it be 10 o'clock or 7 o'clock?
Mine are at 10 o'clock but I'm still having problems adjusting the handbrake. The locking nut is almost at the end of the threaded section and I can still pull the handbrake up about 9 notches. Fitted new handbrake cables today aswell!!!!
Cheers,
Pat

I hope you you're referring to your drivers side now.. I should be 7-8 o'clock.. Mine are that way and the handbrake works a little at least..

OK thanks :icon_biggrin: looks like I'll have to do some 'adjustments' then...:icon_sad:

Ehrmm.. seems I was a bit wrong.. I looked at some photos from last year (before the calipers where painted) and you can just about see the caliper on this pic..

Thats ok, no problem :icon_biggrin: I thought it might have been a struggle to get the handbrake cable to 'strectch' to 8 o'clock :icon_lol:

You using 2wd cables?

Theyre a bit long. You need to....ahem.....modify it.
No Dave I'm using Quadra cables. Thankfully they're still available from Renault at ?55 for the pair. You don't get the outer protective sheath though! :icon_rolleyes:
