Problems starting up when warm

The car ticks over for about 5-10 seconds before firing up when it's warm, such as when i've been out for a drive and gone back to the car within 10-20 mins.

First thing in the morning it starts first time, everytime.

Anything I can do?

Ta,

Chris

there was a problem with starter motor solenoids heating up because of a lack of ventilation, just have to wait til it cools down or fit a heatshield

sometimes when the engine is giving out that much heat the fuel sitting in the rails on the top of the engine become so hot it starts to vaporise and tiny bubbles form in the fuel, when the fuel is cold engines run alot better

I have exactly the same problem Chris. I wanted to know what the problem was too. Its worse on hot days, only when engines been nice and hot then you go pub or something, come back out and struggles to start!

Quite embarrassing if theres people watching you get in the car!
