Private plates

Thinking about treating the impending arrival to a private plate. There's loads of V6 ones to choose, but none with the 3 letters that I've found to be any good, initials or anything.

Possible ones so far

V200 VEE FTW (It's number 200)

V666 DGR (Does three 6's look good? I'm not sure. DGR = initials)

V666 RSP (RSP = Renaultsport)

V666 WTF XXL XXF(Fast)

Any others?

Though might leave for a while and splash out on a personal plate rather than a car specific...

Thoughts?

V6 plate all the way. I have V6 MSX, the letters mean nothing to me but I reckon it sounds cool so would recommend something similar.

People try too hard with plates and usually end up looking stupid IMO.

What site do you use for searching for private plates, mate?

Not a bif fan of 666 myself or letter combinations that are abbreviations of words.

A well chosen plate does look the part though.

Happy hunting.

I got V6 GUD shortly after getting my vee, think it kind of suits the car with a V6 plate ;)
Paid £250 direct from DVLA but think they've gone up a bit so it's a winner all round :approve:

Just the DVLA site

Was contemplating V6 and just any 3 letter, but it's £400 now so nice to have some relevance

The best number on a Clio V6 that i have seen was in Sheffield about 4 years ago VEE 6

The owner of that plate lives half a mile from me,he used to own Ezra Sugden Renault but its sadly no more....he wont sell the plate though.

I own V10 OCH which has the spacing V 10OCH but just got pulled by the police and issued with a £60 fine yesterday :s

The ideal plate for me would be V610 OCH - V6 10OCH But was on a V plate car years back and is no longer on the road

An owner here in hong kong has Clio V6 as his number plate

Cost 300 quid at a government auction where he proposed a plate and with no other bidders got it for the minimum registration price

I'd like one too so thinking of Clio V6 RS - with RS for Renaultsport!
