I met Alex when a few of us (Peter255, Steve Murr, me & Alex) met up nr. Reading for a RSTuning ecu tweek.
The notable feature following the repair was that the wing mirrors were replaced with paintable items, as he disliked the plasticky OEM ones.
I don't think the damage was that bad - but it was a gut-wrenching experince for him. :(

Incidently, Alex sold the car a few years ago...

Yeah was talking about the satin black alloys and the yellow calipers which have been done since it was bought a few weeks ago. Reading the list Alex made it seemed quite bad haha 10k worth of damage eek.

Maybe it's worth sending that info to them cause the ad they've put up would have you believe differently... And someone might get badly done if they're buying and then joined the forum only to find they've been screwed over

Hang on a minute though ... There are quite a few cars I remember which have had a rear wheel knock or various other 'damage' ... we have all seen examples of how easily it's done and how expensive body panels are etc. ... this repair may well have been easy and non structural so perhaps shouldn't prejudice a sale ... that's not to say that we don't all benefit from genuine informaton about a cars history when making our purchasing decisions ...

The dealer mark-up is of interest though but they all tend to do this ... not sure about the wheels and detailing though ...
