Posts being deleted without notice

Hi James/V6 Clio bots!

Can you let me know the grounds for one of my posts being deleted without notice? I've had a read of the forum rules and can't see that I trangressed. I simply answered a question posed by Quik99 in the Simply French thread with what I assumed was common knowledge.

I was subsequently emailed telling me I was "trolling" (whatever that means!) and asked whether I had a wider problem with the admin that PMd me. To be honest I was a bit taken aback by the aggressiveness of the moderation/PM as it's not something I've ever seen on here.

In this case the post was deleted following a bit of a misunderstanding by one of the admin team, and I know that you and he have now had a chat about that. Ultimately even members of v6clio.net admin are human and magnified by the media of t' interweb and typed discussion things can be interpreted in different ways than intended. I believe it doesn't happen often but hopefully we're appropriately apologetic when it does.
