Post detail Vee

Not posted any pics since I've had my Vee detailed.
Also got the OMG (which looks great), Pole Positions and 18" wheels since my last update.
Next on the agenda is a new steering wheel or refurb, then I'm done meddling......

Looks ace. Pole positions really suit it with the renaultsport yellow stitching. Would suit mine better ;)

That looks brilliant!

Couple questions:
Where did you get the seats, do you find the driving position better/lower?
Was the detail worth it (being silver) ?
How is the OMG....?

Stunning! Wheels and colour is perfection. I would have that car over pretty much any mark or colour.

Just had my 18s done in gloss black for my iceberg 230 (VE02VEE btw!) - starting to question my judgement as yours looks very damn pretty.

Thanks folks. I've almost got it exactly how I want it, steering wheel possibly as a Xmas gift from Mrs CraigV6.

Great reg Kett.

The detail probably wasn't worth the cost, but I had promised myself I would have it done and have it done properly, so off it went to Polished Bliss.
It will be back there yearly for a protection detail, just so washing it is a simpler process (I'm getting lazier with age).

The seats were sourced on here from Lankan, with the mounts from JonnyC.
The seats with standard mounts are too high still, or so I am told.
With Jonny's custom efforts, the seating position is absolutely perfect.
I have seen people say that it transforms the car. It does!

The OMG looks great and is okay on a twenty minute blast.
However, I will get the standard exhaust cleaned up and back on as soon as I get a chance to do so.
It is too loud for long journeys and anti-social to my neighbours (especially if I want to take it to work, as I leave home at 6.30am), so puts me off using the car unfortunately, which defeats the purpose.

Looks fantastic!! Backdrop skies really accentuate the colour, hard to believe NE Scotland and not the South of France!

Iceberg looks great in late afternoon sun Simon, also under the lights of a car park (if there were any I could get in).

You know what? I had the same problem - but it did wonders for keeping the mileage low. Lol!

I've had a bit of a rethink about things and am going to have a go at selling my Vee if anyone is interested.
Full advert to follow in the For Sale section tomorrow I expect.
Spend all that money to get it how I want it, then decide to sell..........
