right, went to leave work tonight in the vee..

car started fine and ticked over fine while all in flight checks were taking place..

slowly rolled out of the carpark and pulled of in first gear, then under very gentle acceleration say around 2000rpm the car almost stalled/choked its self...

for about 3 or 4 miles the car continued to do this..

droppped her into second and again a bit of throttle and again didn't feel right.

i pulled up and gave the car a quick blip to try and clear it and seemed hesistant to rev. after about 3500 rpm it seemed to clear and rev fine..

pulled of and again and once again a real big loss of power, almost stalled again, and then she back fired twice.... noticed she was ticking over real slow, maybe 4-500 rpm..

any idea's.. maybe coil's or something....

how do you tell which coil's have given up the ghost or is that s stupid question....

steve :(

Did your engine light come on Stevo?

What does it sound like on idle? Does it sound like a Sherman tank?

i had a coil go last night, on idle when you sit in the seat, the whole car shakes like your in a tractor. typically its one of the ones under the inlet plenum thats gone on mine DOH!!

sounds like your is experiencing something else!
