There's an article in the latest Evo magazine (December 2013, issue #189) where Harry M. interviews Tony Fernandez on the future of Caterham......provides a useful insight into TF's approach and the company's future direction, along with the tie up with Alpine.
The car is expected to sell for around £35K when it is released in 2015. It appears that these are being targeted (predominantly) at the Asian market - "Asia is an untapped market, everyone here is a boy racer"
Autocar reports that the joint venture between Renault and Caterham may be canned! LINK
"...reports of tensions between the two partners have been rife since it was confirmed the project would be delayed earlier this year, after Renault instigated a minor redesign of its Alpine following customer clinics on the car's looks."
Wonder whether the recent change in designs of all Renaults have anything to do with this...........anybody know anything more?
