Pistonheads Run - MkI & II

This was from back in July but due to never ever going on Facebook I never realised my friend sent me a link to all the photos he took on the day.

It was funny as on the Saturday I was sitting at the traffic lights in Edinburgh then what pulls up right in front on the main road but Iain in his MkII was awesome and funny. The way I was sitting he couldn’t see me so rolled the car back then was facing him; a flash of the lights and we were both waving out the window at each other probably thinking the same thing. What’s the chances and just awesome later on the same day I seen him cleaning his car with his mate nearby where I stay so got chatting and was asked if I was going on the PH run on the Sunday. Quick call to a mate and it was an early start the next day.

Again really good and even better going with another V6, some nice cars and people in attendance again and the weather was pretty much spot on having no rain. Anyways here are some pictures from the day....

Also met Iain again in the Indian in town about a week after (No Vee's present lol)

THAT is what Sundays are for!!! Great day and a much more enjoyable run through the Borders this timearound Topped off with a roast dinner at an Ayrshire golf club, you just cannae beat it!

Fond memories of running along behind / in front of your vee (v.v. nice btw :approve: ) Also had entertaining run with FTO behind on first stretch to coffee stop. Looking forward to the next one although will be 2013 for me as on SORN from end this month :race: iolin:
