so..why is this one silver? and does it just fit on with both ends using the standard pipes? Im sure mine had a feed going right to the pod..this doesnt look inclded here...help!

ebay filter

It looks just like an urn to me [smilie=shock.gif]
- Sorry I have no idea why it's silver.

...Having just fitted one myself [smilie=icon_snigger.gif] I consider myself to be a dab hand at this now....!!!

YEP...this looks exactly the same as mine - albeit a different colour - mine is shiny and red !! (should be 100mm at the larger end) Once you take the existing filter off, it's actually quite straightforward, although it does help if you have little hands, to be able to manouevre the existing ducting onto the filter itself....you won't actually need to buy any further ducting - it will fit...!!!! :D It's a tricky little so and so getting it into place but you don't even have to make a bracket as the jubilee clips hold it into place.....

Check out the wiki-link it's a good place to start.....(has pictures too..!!!) http://www.v6clio.net/wiki/index.php?ti ... Air_Filter

You always have my mobile if you get stuck...!!! :D

My piperX filter is silver and is exactly the same as the red one.
The fitting is identical. Just can get a bit confusing getting the filter
the correct way round for air flow as you have no markings on filter
to guide you against the fitting instructions.

The big release clips go on the engine side, not the pod side.....

I'll be selling mine in a couple of weeks(and mine is red with all the bits).
Also my janspeed system with manifolds and sport kats(around £1500 new)
Also my 18" azevs.

I'll put a post in the 'for sale' bit soon.

...oh, and a back to standard phase one will be up for grabs :(

...oh, and a never got round to fitting it but I have a phase 2 plenum with bigger injectors, brand new ph2 throttle body, all gaskets and extra plumbing. Just needed bolting on and a custom map done.
