Just picked up number 200 today. What a car!!! Loves tunnels
Will give a proper write up next after driving it all weekend, all I will say is got it from Steve at R-Sport Cars who was fantastic to deal with
Congratulations Danny..! Welcome to the fold... Having wanted a v6 for so long, I hope it lives and to your expectations, and beyond! They tend to get under your skin a bit. :race:
I think we need to get a v6 + 1*2 photo thread going in media.. There's loads of us! [cmilie=iconcheers.gif]
Yeah, but I sold the track car last week. Might fund some Trendlines
As for the Vee, had a lovely ride up the A65 to the Lakes yesterday. Dropping back and revving it up doesn't get boring. Also very surprised how little fuel it used, not r en a quarter of a tank!!!
Ok so a few questions after a weekend of driving around.
The mpg doesn't show and there are dashes that flash. How do you sort this out so I can see how low I'm managing :race:
Also the steering seems light when at about 70-80 (damp road), is this normal? I've never driven a vee that fast before for a distance so never noticed before.

I had a similar problem when I first got my vee. Soon after I got it, I sent it in for a full service and I also replaced the battery. After all of that work the trip computer just started working again, no more flashing. Perhaps disconnecting the battery cleared something?
Hold the button in on the end of the stork while turning the ignition on after a few seconds the dials will start a reset process, wait till the rpm and speedo have been right round then just turn ignition back off
Sounds like a simple dash reset is required to get the mpg showing again.
The light steering im sure is just related to not having an engine over the wheels, they do have a very feel different to front engined hatchbacks, takes a little bit of getting used to & then you never really notice it anymore.
Wait til you hit 130mph then the front end lifts that is really disconcerting then it hunkers down luckily and is as stable as anything You can steer with one finger if you so wish when flat out its that stable!!
