I realise that this has been discussed at length before, and I have [smilie=icon_mini_search.gif] and :wiki: for info, but most of what I find seems to be related to the phase 2.

Has anyone had a play with the Renault factory settings? Anyone still alive to tell me what works?! [smilie=shock.gif]

I was thinking about the front more than the rear. I`ve read that the 30 Mins toe in that Renault sugest, can be set to 30 mins toe out for better tyre wear. I have just had the front set to parrallel as a compromise, but seem to have lost some of the self centering effect.

Think I might just keep it standard!

Yes the Wiki entry also contains references to a few geometry posts I found including some stuff from Harry ;-)

@Ryair, the fact is, I drove the phase1 for about 10 minutes, and at the time thought it was a hopeless case. So not much testing there.

You mentioned something about toe out, toe in, in general toe out gives more wear on the tire inside, toe in on the tire outside.
And for the phase 2 I do exactly the opposite of what you mention.

I know somebody, (a colegue of me) who experiments quite a lot on the phase1, I'll ask him. But I warn You, he's quite a nutter going towards extreme settings.
