phase 1 tyre sizes

can anyone let me know what the lowest profile tyre is you can fit to phase 1 alloys.think mine look to high profile for my liking mine are 205/50/17 front & 235/45/17 rears . [smilie=thanks.gif]
 
Yours are standard of course.

They look normal. Perhaps fit lower profiles and coilovers to make it look better?

Unless you want the overall diameter to be much smaller you'll need to fit mk2 18" wheels, then you can run lower profile tyres but keep the overall size similar.
 
I had 40 profile on both front and rear, was absolutely fine but as mentioned before lesser tyre filling the arches though agreed 50 profile on the front is alittle too much tyre! mk1's suite mk2's 18"s that would be your best option :approve:
