Not a bad price if it sells for that, but looks brand new, with all due maintenance carried out: LINK

In the register with a comment "spotted at 30,000 miles on ebay Jan 2013, 3 previous owners."

Do we know how much it sold for in January (same mileage as now)?

It sold for £7,551.01 on ebay.

It needed a bit of work - which it looks like they have done, so was always going to be priced higher when it resurfaced.

Id be well happy if that price was an indicatation of ph1 value, but i think its still probably 2-3k too high at the current time.

Im basing this on the though of someone offering me 14,195k for mine, id be would blooming tempted to sell!!

Not a bad mark up then. What exactly needed doing, and what would it have cost?

Indeed if this is where Phase 1 prices are heading then great! :approve:

Renault Clio v6 230 Phase 1
Here I am selling my beloved Clio V6 which I have owned for the last 6 years and kept in great condition. Unfortunately (for me) my wife has forced the sale due to new baby and the car no longer being practical :o(

I have rarely used the car. When I purchased the car it had 8500 miles on the clock and in the 6 years I have owned it I have only put 21500 miles on it. Totaling 30,000 miles now on the clock and only 3 previous owners. It is also being sold with my private plate on it. This has a high value of its own. It is originally a '53 plate which is a rare reg for this car. Again bumping its value to you once the work is complete.

It will make a good project for someone although its nothing major. It doesn't have a current MOT and therefore the project is that this car requires rear ABS ring (Driver side), Tie rod end, new battery but will start with jump leads and two new tyres. The car will also need TAX.

The only body work damage is a light scratch about an inch and 3/4 on the bonnet (easily repaired and shown on photo) and some minor damage to the rear bumper (see photo)

I would easily and happily have completed the work needed to get this car back in to mint condition however as previously mentioned a new baby pretty much kills any chances of that right now!

I am offering someone a great opportunity to grab a well sort after car in great condition with potential to make yourself some money on it too.

That said please don't message with ridiculous offers. I do expect a fair price for the car hence putting a reserve on here.

I have also advertised the car elsewhere and therefore this lot may end early.

I am happy to answer any sensible questions and anyone wanting a buy it now price will need to make a sensible offer. This car is in amazing condition having been well loved. Naturally with its age it requires a little work but nothing major. These cars dont come up for sale often- especially not as a private listing nor in this great condition.

The car will be available to be viewed next weekend (5th and 6th) for anyone seriously interested before the sale ends next Monday 7th January. No Tyre Kickers please.

The winning bidder is required to pay a £200 non refundable deposit via PayPal within 24 hours or the car will be re-listed and/or offered on second chance. The car will then need to be collected within 7 days (unless agreed otherwise) and full balance paid in cash on collection. Receipt for full winning amount will be provided.

Happy bidding!!!!!!

cambelt was also due.

i reckon total cost including purchase to make it mint would of been around 10-11k

Didn't realise it would have been that much to put right, but I am sure whoever who bought it either would have done the work themselves or got it done a lot cheaper.

If not, then they would have to stomach a loss of around £500 a month over the last 8 months.........and that is if it sells at the asking price :s
