Ph1/Ph2 inner engine covers

Simple one really.

1) Are inner engine covers interchangeable? i.e. could I run a ph2 inner engine cover surround with a ph1 inner access panel (the one with the dzus clips)?

2) If the answer to the above is yes then would the ph1 outer covers fit over the ph2/ph1 hybrid inner panels or would I need full ph2 outer covers?

Bill Patchall may be able to explain what adjustments are needed. Ph2 having 4 locking levers and the different shape of the inner engine surround panel.

Cheers James. So sounds like my frankenstein ph1/ph2 cover creation is doomed not to work!

Think fashioning a spacer to raise the ph1 covers a bit is going to be the only way to get them over the ph2 engine with plenum spacer. Will have to investigate when I'm next down at Scott's.
