Petrol Smell Under load

Not long had my belt done, I can smell fuel when im giving it some love.

I only have the one cover on (love the noise) but i have had them off for ages and Im sure it was not the same before.

anyway, performance wize its fine etc but i just thought i would check with you guys.

basically would you expect fuel smell with only the one cover on under heavy loving? :hug: , my initial thought was that it may be running rich!

probably should add.

Exhaust has black resin round it and i seem too be going thru a wild amount of fuel.

although all this could be my vivid imagination.

if it is running rich, what is involved in squaring it up.

got a green panel, everything else standard. (appart from a couple of stickers :wink: )

I would get it checked out on Renault Clip to begin with.

Might be a lambda sensor giving wrong information.
