I suspect this started life as a parts bin special from the left over TWR stock. now has the id of a 1998 clio 1.2.

Highly modified and dubiously modfied (ph2 wings, ph1 bumper!), but would be intersested to find out more, possibly quite a fast one!

only 6k if anyone fancies a punt. ;)

Clio V6 twin turbo Phase two spec (£6,000)

White, Clio v6 twin turbo , built from all new parts less than 15k since build.Built to phase two spec, runs sweet & strong.Uses carbs & dizzy, easy & cheap to maintain.Cam belt swop is easy with engine in place.Three piece wheels, bucket seats etc,.
Full mot & tax,
Its not a show & shine car, as the paint work is not great, however its a great car & a blast to drive!

Comes with complete mould set for making panels, rear chassis jigs, for converting a base model Clio ( front engine) car to a v6.
Spare parts, engine, cylinder heads, V6 clox,V6 ECU's, boxs of parts.I think the are some spare wheels too.

Plus, the engine/box subframe & parts from the preprodution prototype built by TWR for Renault., some doc's too.

What the hell is the engine from? The wheels are the type twr used to develope the car for sure.

After further digging, it appears it was a 1.2 clio to begin with and was modified to mid engine rearwheel drive and has been a long term project.

looks like he also one owned the other v6 on carbs LINK

Now being advertised for 5k ono.

Hes obviously a pretty handy mechanic!

Looks like Mg Metro turbo plenumn and carbs. Would be interesting to look at. Can't se it making much more than 300hp though.

Do NOT buy this car this has been taken without my consent buy persons i know!! they have till the weekend to get it back to me before i inform the police..
The descripsion is complete bollocks it needs loads doing to it the body work is a disgrace, yes it was working when i got it but not very well, as for wheelying on hard excelleration well i will leave that to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yes NMS did look at it and gave me the right advice not to spend money on it that was there input plus they are a great bunch of guys who brought this to my attention....

Fuck me! A second hand engine and loom would cost 500 quid mick. NOT 2500! You can buy Citroen engines that are the exact same as ph1 engines.
All the best with this mate.

yes mate that what the plan was put a 406 engine in before this little shite took it mate.
worst thing is its a family member who i trusted thats why ive given him this week to return it.....

Call the Police. They are trying to sell it! Contact them before some poor person buys it and loses their money?

I hope you get it all sorted :-)

The stock 406 motor can be turbocharged fine. It has a lower c/r than the later units. If you stick with the n/a route then fitting the later vvc engine from citreon/renault would be best and costs about the same. There's probably around 20bhp difference. Me and a friend put an early lump in a 205 gti. Was around 185-190bhp.

Have you stoved this blokes head in yet?

Still on ebay and other forums looking at it. Did you get it sorted? Would hate for someone to part with money....

Back again!!!!

Micevo did you ever get problem sorted?

Could be an interesting project for someone and if all else fails what would the body panels and running gear be worth breaking it??? Providing they are OEM TWR spares.

Saw this last night again, didn't the bloke who owned this come on here last time telling people not to bid on it as somebody had taken it and selling without his permission, and saying there where loads of faults with it , that he couldn't get sorted
