Oh hello, that's a lot of 2's....may I all introduce you to me and my little Renault Clio.
My Name is Nico Katsburg, currently 23 years old, living in the Netherlands working and studying to become an Automotive Engineer, my dayjob at the moment is building and designing an electric wheelchair accesible vehicle.
My first and still only car is an 2001 Renault Clio 1.2 8V which I bought 3 years ago on the 8th of februari 2016 with just 172.000 km or about 107.000 miles.
As we speak the odometer is just shy of 260.000 km or 161.556 miles. So it's fair to say that yes I needed a diesel Clio and yes I drive a lot!
It was once standard.

It evolved a little.

And some more.

Just trying to keep it tidy and neat.

It has broken on me....several times, but after the last big one, 203.000 km, headgasket, it performs very very strong!
Changin the gasket by myself was the little push I needed to have faith in my own ability to work on cars, since then I tend to feel a job can be too difficult for me but you can always try right? Some common sense and a few people to help with knowledge are the best thing you can have.

Still in good order.

I've had the head rebuild.

And after some assembly, which went much quicker then I would have thought possible.

It started first time and has never failed to do so since then.
In the future I would love to add an 19 16V, Megane 1 F7R or an AG Clio 3 RS. But untill then I will keep adding the miles on my 8V.
