HI,JUST BOUGHT 53 PLATE ILLIAD BLUE,47,000 MILES FROM A DEALER IN DERBYSHIRE,LOVE IT,BUT CRUISE CONTROL DOES NOT WORK,READ A FEW PROBLEMS ABOUT THIS AND SOME SAY IF IT HAS HAD AN ECU UPGRADE IT CAN CAUSE CRUISE PROBLEMS,DEALER KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT UPGRADE SO ANY CLUES????THANKS,PETER

More than likely the pedal sensor. A read of the OBDII port should tell you!
