Evening people.

I just thought i'd introduce myself and cast the net out with regards to my next purchase. I've currently got an R26 and looking for my first V6 aswell. Have been reading this forum with relish. Packed with info.

There's not a great number of cars for sale at the moment so if you're tempted to sell then get in touch. Interested in both Ph1 and Ph2.

I've noticed there's only a couple on Pistonheads at the moment. Here is definitely the place to be to look out for some real gems and friendly advice.

Hi Chris. It's amazing the wealth of info we have here for what is quite a small club. I know its a quiet period for car selling in general but with the slow but sure exporting of vees to France, Germany, Australia, Norway etc maybe there will never again be many vees on sale again. Be interesting to see what it will be like come the summer months. Probably best to buy from someone off here cos at least you will know its history. Good luck with your search for a vee.

I've only been a member for a few days and this super lot have already saved me £400 (don't need to replace driveshaft if ABS ring broken - just get new ring) and helped me get my tracking to spec even when dealer said it was not possible. Tops.

Sounds like you plan to keep the R26 ? That makes some collection if you add a V6 to that. Jealous!!

Thanks for the welcome. Not planning on one of each no but just looking for a car that's 'right', be it a Phase 1 or a Phase 2. I have a Phase 2 budget but I do like the look of a Phase 1.

A Mars Red Phase 1 would be ideal but somewhat a pipe-dream I suspect.

Two on pistonheads. Two on ebay. 5 on autotrader. Maybe double up ads havent checked but there are a few out there ph1 and 2. Add in any on sale here as well.

Your r26 was stunning, if you get your Vee half as nice as that it's gonna be superb!
