Hello, my name is Javier Niño, i´m from México.

I want to buy a Renault Clio V6, 2002 with just 5,000 original miles, the car is like new but has the check engine flashing.
Renaut did´t sold the V6 in México however they did sold the V6 Laguna, do you think the laguna scanner fits on the Clio V6?

Why do you think the car has the check engine flashing in the dashboard with only 5,000 original miles?

What do you recommend to check?

Welcome.

My first guess would be that an ignition coil has become faulty. It may not have been changed, so perhaps the lambda sensors have also been affected.

One of our members with more technical knowledge should offer you better advice.
