New Seats

Good one Andy,

If these are the Trophy Recaros (I can't see at e-bay at work) ...

I put an offer in but wasn't too serious though if I didn' have Recaro seats already I would have done the buy-it-now at £750 last night no worries ;-) These were a steal IMHO ...

Will get pics up once fitted.

Just reading through the guide and seems i'll need resistors and it looks a bit of a pain removing the bolts from under the car.

Let me get this right.

The outside 2 bolts are easy.

The inside 2 I need to move the brake lines, and bracket to get access to the other 2 bolts?

I've never looked on the underside of a V6, but i'm guessing it'll be come obvious and apparent what I need to move/remove to get access.

Got the same in mine, and were ok to fit!
you need 2 resisters as you say(type and size in V6 Wiki)
The inner bolts, all you need to do is remove the middle undertray(not easy if you dont have a pit or ramp like me) You can get to all the bolts without moving the brake lines etc, its fiddlely but it can be done.
A full guide is in the Wiki I think

Awesome going to jack it all up and put it on axle stands, got so low ramps to try first.

Failing that I should be able to gain access to some ramps at the local exhaust place for £10 cash in hand and might use that option just purely for ease of use getting under the car.

i fitted my own seats and the inner bolts are complete tossers...your mainly working by touch unless you can get the car on the ramps...

They were a pain the first time I did mine but actuall Colin is right, if you jack the car up enough (and use axle stand) to crawl under it is much easier.

I did one side at a time which meant I didn't have to take the whole under tray off, just dropped each side in turn.

The rear inner bolt is up againt a pipe bracket and foam insulation you access it using a 1/4 inch rachet sextension between two of the air-con pipes, then it is quite easy - you will see what I mean.

My Wiki has a picture too ;-)
