Hi all, just bought my first Clio V6 after owning a few 5GTT's love the car but have some minor issue now.

The idle running is not perfect and it sometimes hunts a bit from 500 rpm to 1000 rpm, was hoping to find some info here

Hi Jasper,

Welcome. Air leak? Idle valve? Your best bet would be to get it on a diognostic machine to check all sensors are working etc.

was already looking for the idle valve, but could only see the crankcase vent lines and to brakebooster..

I have a Phase 1 numbe 00188, also notice that it takes about 5 seconds for it to start after cranking..

Have you ever changed spark plugs?
Checked air filter is clean?

spark plugs, airfilter and coils. Car runs perfect, only idle is not smooth and rpm is not stable. Which one is ICV ? Couldn't find it after cleaning the throttle and replacing gasket. Is it separate from the trhrottle and is so where is it mounted so that I also can clean it.

Might be worth while checking out the 10-15mm black corrugated plastic hoses, engine side of the throttle body. I found these to be extremely brittle on my car. Two of them snapped when changing a coil once so I converted them to rubber. Might be worth a look along with fuel filter.
