New 17" & 18" OEM V6 OZ Wheels from Alpine

OK, they took a bit longer than I would have liked to come back with a price and they are a bit more than I was hoping but here is the deal I have been offered on the remaining stock. This is cost price and does not include transport / delivery etc

If a few people want them I may be able to squeeze a bit further. The bad news I have to collect them before 8th December so be quick if you want some.

Clio V6 17" Front or rear 125 euros each + tax (full set 500 euros + tax)
Clio V6 18" Front or rear 160 euros each + tax (full set 640 euros + tax) Now £600 inclusive.
Tax is currently 19.6%

I'm hoping that if there is enough interest that they would be able to flat rate at 125 euro per wheel regardless of size.

125 euro + tax (19.6%) = 149.50 euro

I'm in limbo on this one; the agreed price on the 18's is what my nearly new's (which remain unsold) would cost with a minor refurb - so I'm out.
If you were able to secure the 18's for the the 17's deal, then that is a very different matter - and I would be most definitely in!

Here's hoping for a minor euro crash in the meantime!

According to my estimations (£665.57+delivery), we're looking at approximately £720 for an 18" set.
The angsts are: timing (it's pre-Xmas) and managing expectation (£100-a-corner was mooted).

Stephen has come in at ~£600 less than the RRP for this product line, which is pretty amazing... :bow:
...but not quite the give-away price that might have appealed to those not necessarily needing a new set. :s

(FTR, if the 18" set could be sourced for the 17" set price, the cost would be ~£650 delivered - which would be a MF bargain!
Sadly, the feedback suggests that even that figure might still exceed previous expectations.)

Will let you know. They may budge, they may not as the 18" is still a current retail item and the normal allowable discount is pretty low % wise compared to what they are already offering.

Really??? They were the ones on the Motorshow cars. Much more highly polished than the normal wheels. I see two cars with them fitted in france this year.

As per my PM, I'd love a pair of these 18's for my phase 1.

Couple of things hesitate me a little though.

I have nowhere in my house to briefly store them and then I have to get them to the shop to get some rubber put on them. Is it possible that they can come with tyres on, at all?

Also, as per another PM, I have to get some bolts and spacers, and although this sounds simple enough, I'd rather someone who is a bit more confident with a spanner than myself to put them on.

I'll try think of a solution as I don't mean to make a meal out of what seems a great purchase.
