They look awesome! I prefer a standard car but if there's one thing I probably will change on mine (if I ever get it!) it will be the seats, the only thing that lets the car down IMO.

They make a real difference in the way you can feel the car in corners, plus, spoke to my Feng Shui guru, and he is sure they will enrich me with more positive chi

I WANT, I WANT...........SUPERB, STUNNING :approve: :approve: [smilie=bowdown.gif] [smilie=bowdown.gif] [smilie=bowdown.gif]

This is how every vee should have left the factory :D

MARTIN (K1ANO)...........Have you got yours in yet?? :D

Mossy, I am in fabrication / design mode for subframes at the moment but not too long. I have two pairs to fit remember mine and Jainy's.

Mihuel, what subframes did you use in the end, where did you buy and how much ?

Martin

I got the seats off Ebay, they were from a Megane 225. I was told they would 'drop right in a clio' -this was wrong. I ended up having to buy a set of resistors and Clio subframes from Capital Seating (very helpful).

Resistors: £14.47 each + VAT
Subframes: £89.36 each + VAT

Slight problem: couldn't connect the cable that enables 'tilt & slide' so i have to tilt them forward, then reach underneath for the slide release in order to let passengers in the back........no, hang on a second..........turns out this is no problem at all, hee hee. My Civic had factory fitted recaros and they were the same.

Watch out for scratches on the subframes as the packaging is a bit shoddy. I work in sheetmetal fabrication and i was a bit surprised at the poor quality of them, someone somewhere, makes a killing on them i reckon.

I think there will be a run on these seats, they have such a fantastic OEM look to them ...

IMHO the stock seats are the worst decision Renault could have made for the interior styling however simply fitting some decent seats like the Recaros absolutely transforms the car inside ...

I have some Recaro Trendline seats from a Honda Accord Type R which are basically the same style but different centre trim and saw one in our works car park yesterday - they also look very good ;-) I do prefer the half leather look though but I can't have everything.

For anyone interested the group buy for Recaros is still on waiting on one more person.

Get your names down quick! ;)

they look very nice...were definately my second choice after the pole positions :):)

Looks fantastic, But agree with colin! Pole positions are that little bit more racey!

Colin
Whats the Pole Positions like for getting in and out off?
I would always worry about rubbing against them and wearing a hole in the material. Then i would panic watching Nicky or my daughter geting in and out.
I'm starting to hyper ventilate and i dont have a pair yet!!!
