looks real clean, just makes me want to get back and clean mine.

Just some info for you, I went to a car show back at the beginning of summer and bought some DODO JUICE Light Fantastic wax, it is specially formulated for silver/light coloured cars. Quite pricey, but you would definitely get a years worth of use out of it.

Have used it on my car along with another product for light cars called Jeff's Jet werkstat acrylic - in my eyes they really do get the best of the paintwork on a silver car ( providing the paint is in good condition)

here are a few links of the said products.

Understandably you can spend hundreds on finding the right products, but believe me I have tried most of them - and these really do work for sensible money.

again though - you have made me very jealous, can't wait to get back to my car and have it looking as clean as yours.

Looks very nice Ed!.. points lost for no tyre shine and un-hoovered drivers side mat.. lol ;)

Nice tidy car tho.. keep it up fella.. [smilie=icon_cheers.gif]

I'll second the nice day in Somerset..... lovely sunshine! 8)

The car looks absolutely stunning mate [smilie=bowdown.gif]

I gave my car a quick rinse off the other day so might be an ideal time for a quick meet and picture taking whilst the sun is shining

I'll probably be about tomorrow from 18:00 onwards if you fancy it?

Thanks guys :)

Steve - Thanks, great post. The previous owner, Dan, used to use Dodo juice and it's definately on my shopping list. The car's having quite a lot of work done early next year so I plan to really step up my detailing skills to protect the investment. Looking forward to experimenting with the clay bar :)

Shaun - Yup wasn't happy at all with the way the tyres went. Didn't do the interior today so no offence taken there 8)

Dan - Great call, yup I should be about tomorrow night so if you fancy meeting up for a bit then great. Drop me a PM tomorrow if it's a green light :thumb

Some good honest shots there :thumb . I hate it when people photoshop their pics.
I joined detailing world to find out about detailing products etc, its a fantastic forum. Oh nice stereo by the way, same as mine. :D

It's looking great.

Would be nice to get the vee over to some nice hills for photo locations. I was up in the lakes last week, the scenery is magnificent up in the mountains but some of the roads were very narrow and bumpy and would have been proper scary in a vee!

Disgustingly clean. :-)
People ike you probably have a wash every day as well I suppose, unlike the rest of us who wait until it rains. ;-)
Seriously though, you really make me feel ashamed of how I do not look after my mark 2. It gets TLC at service etc. but not washed inside and out as it should.
On my list of things to do tomorrow (Sunday).

Very impressive attention to detail.
BTW did you clean under the plastic bucket thing in the boot ?

So did you wash it then? :)

Nope I only worked on the outside. The interior and other compartments will get done the next time we have a nice weekend (probably mid-2010 then).
