My baulkhead needs a clean!

Brett

New Member
I'm considering selling my Perspex baulkhead soon but before I do I want to clean it and polish it so its immaculate. Any ideas what to use? Its got some very very slight stains on it, not sure where from but would like them gone. Obviously it will have to be non abrasive.

There is specific Plastic polishes Brett. Have a look on Detailing world.

I use Wolfgang lens polish for this sort of things. (Machine polish)

Yeah that sort of stuff rings a bell. I just can't risk fecking it up and loosing a couple hundred quid.

megs do a plastic polish called plastex, which is a very light abrasive. You could also use a light car polish on a rotary, u would need to be careful with heat though

try the stuff for cleaning soft top rear windows, its a very soft polish / clear to stop or remove light scratches

This is the stuff that Porsche supplied me to clean the plexiglass windbreak window.

I'm sure it's no different to the other similar products on the market.
