My cheap'n'nasty rear marshalls (which admittedly do flex a bit too much) are just approaching time to change as they're reaching the legal limit and they've done nearly 20,000 miles!
Tim, there's not a huge difference between them, but a quick check on a tyre size calculator shows that your rears are a wee bit smaller than the standard fit that James posted. 2.41% out on circumference.
Fronts are obviously smaller too ... since whilst the section is right, the profile is smaller. Calculator says that they're 3.22% under.
Not huge differences, a couple of MPH out and the right side in that you'll actually be going slower than your speedo says.
I can't believe that small tyre size differences like that can be affecting the handling as much as say alignment and balance being out.
Andy....I had the rears changed and after i drove it home the steering wheel was sitting right of centre and when you let it go it now pulls to the left. Going around corners is more hairier now as she is sliding in the dry....I can feel the rear end going light. Cruising at 60/70 feels like you are in high gust winds? Strange one....any thoughts? Alignment/toe? The toe should not have been affected simply form changing tyres....
