Mars red with anthracite wheels / pods?

My wheels will need a refurb in the winter and I'm worried about the silver finish not matching oem, somas looking at this old pic and I quite like the look with the red.... Opinions?

Not a fan of that at all Colin..

There's a thread still active on here regarding wheel refurbs.. started by Looch I think? Also, SGM offer a very good OEM wheel refurb survice. A bit too far from you perhaps though.

Stick with the OEM sliver would be my choice.. without doubt

Silver suits it best IMHO, I think it was looch that found somewhere that did a cracking oem finish, Wheel Specialist possibly... I'm on the phone so can't search as easy.

Or buy a new set from Stephen?

I would love a new set but it's too close to me getting the car, plus a runaround, and I'm trying this new "can't afford to buy it cash don't buy it" motto

In 3 or 4 months time I could afford a set but they will likely all be gone or Stephen won't be going back! Doh!

Looch's did look nice but I haven't seen any far away pics of them on his car..
Thing is mine aren't even kerbed but some of the paint on the rears especially is bubbling and discolouring

The refurb will be fine! Calm doon!

Grey wheels look gash on anycar. I can't think of a single car where grey would look better than Silver.

Absolutely Wayne but also have to agree that the contrasting silver makes the Mars paintwork glisten beautifully :bow:
