omg what was it doing at Halfords? Buying polish I hope!

So are the pods on a Loony supposed to be silver or grey?
(The silver pods look so much better me thinks, but I fear I'm digging a hole so I'll stop there!)

Hi Janelle...

On early i.d. coloured cars, the pods were sprayed to match the body work. Like Ketts and 'I think' James's. Chris's later acid has silver pods.

Your car is original i'd imagine.! :D

Yes Shaun has it.

Side pod colour coding : Initially the brochure said "pods are coloured for all our "special" I.D. customers" then shortly after they were all silver I.D. paint or not.

You are just as special in my eyes Janelle.

Bear in mind that with silver pods though you could still find the car in the car park

I do remember seeing my first Lunar car in a garage showroom pic all polished up and I thought 'wow' - what a distinct and appealing colour. Lunar would be probably my second choice of Vee colour over Black. Like Black I imagine Lunar being another colour that is hard to keep clean though.

Easy. You can't see the dirt on undercoat!
