Low insurance - high excess

As I'm now in the hunt for a V6, though I'd check out some prices.

Had a few around the £1k mark which is good(rubbish post code) but come with a £3k excess

Others are coming in £200 more with about £470 excess.

I'm thinking not, but is it worth the risk? Thoughts...

So you're thinking of saving £200 to risk £2.5k??! [smilie=icon_eek.gif]

Have you got some other drivers on the policy? Limited mileage etc. Go to a broker rather than direct. Green light worked for me when I'd just got mine.

Yeah, being a bit stupid there, I knew the answer really.

Done limited mileage, mrs on etc

Insurance really is a black art though! I moved from a C rated postcode to an A and my insurance went up.
