looking for a new key

the fob key etc do I have to go to Renault or is there anyone out there that can point me in the right direction.....I don't have a spare keep meaning to get this sorted but keep forgetting [smilie=thanks.gif]

Hi Stewart, there are people out there who could supply & code the key to your car best look for a auto locksmith local to you.

From Renault itl take roughly 5 days for the key to come in as the plip is ordered off the chassis number as its phase 1 & itl have to be coded, make sure you take your v5 as proof of ownership is required. Price i think plip is roughly £100, blade £10 and the coding on top.

Check your local renault dealer.

They now believe they have the right key although it is different to what I have and am still waiting to get it coded by Renault.

I got one, sorry 2 for a ph1. The key comes with 2 plips as the key is for immobiliser the other alarm. Both are separate systems hence the need for 2. Think it was £150 from main dealers
